Amber & Sandalwood

Warm resin and creamy wood, running all day.

What does Amber & Sandalwood smell like?

Golden amber and soft sandalwood carry the whole blend, warmed by vanilla and anchored by a little earthy patchouli. Bergamot keeps the top from turning heavy. Smooth and enveloping rather than sweet, and it works year-round โ€” the reason it suits a diffuser that never switches off.

Both numbers come straight out of our published usage-rate table โ€” the same table we tell everyone else to work from. The hard ceiling for any specific oil is that oil's own IFRA certificate, and where the certificate is lower, the certificate wins.

Same blend, different product. The recipe blends this as an eau de parfum at 20% in alcohol. A diffuser needs a much higher ratio in a diffuser base to throw scent up through the reeds, and it never touches skin โ€” same blend, different formulation.

Safety โ€” Not a skin product

  • ยทNever apply to skin. A diffuser runs at up to 25% fragrance โ€” the highest load of anything in the shop.
  • ยทThe base is flammable. Keep the bottle and the reeds away from open flame, heaters, and direct sun.
  • ยทStand it on a coaster or tray. Diffuser oil marks polished wood, painted surfaces, and plastics.
  • ยทWash your hands after flipping the reeds, and keep the bottle out of reach of children and pets.

What has to be done before this can legally be sold

Fragrance oils are classified under CLP for flammability and skin sensitisation. The finished bottle carries the CLP label and allergen list โ€” not written yet, because nothing has been produced.

This is on the page rather than in a drawer because it is the honest reason there is a waitlist instead of a buy button.

Or make it yourself

The full method is published free โ€” oils, ratios, temperatures, cure times, and where to buy each oil from a verified supplier. Nothing is held back.
